Love, Hate, Record helps you capture moments from your day in three categories—love, hate, and record—and revisit them by date on a calendar.
Need help?
zuni4242@gmail.comWrite an entry
Choose love, hate, or record, check the date, then write and save your entry. Entries and settings are stored in your current browser.
Browse entries by date
Select a date on the calendar to view its entries. Category markers below a date show which categories you used that day.
Edit or delete an entry
Open the menu beside an entry and choose Edit or Delete. You can restore a deleted entry from a JSON backup.
Search past entries
Use the magnifying glass to search entry text and narrow results by love, hate, or record. Search terms are not saved or sent to a server.
Back up and restore
Export your entries as a JSON file in Settings. On iOS and Android, you can send it to Files or cloud storage through the system share feature. Before importing, you can review the selected file. Import adds only new entries and does not overwrite existing ones.
Change language or colors
Choose from 12 supported app languages and palettes in Settings. Your choices are stored in this browser; entry text is not translated.
Delete your data
Delete entries individually in the app. On the web, clear this site's storage in your browser settings. Deleting the iOS or Android app generally removes its private storage, but iCloud or Google backups and separately saved JSON files must be deleted from their own locations.
Frequently asked questions
Are my entries sent to a server?
No. Entries are stored in your current browser and are not sent to the developer's servers. They do not sync automatically when you open the app in another browser or on another device.
How do I move to another device?
Export a JSON backup from your current browser, then import that file in the new browser.
What should I include when I contact support?
Tell us your app version, browser and device, and the steps that led to the issue. You do not need to send sensitive entry text. We will reply as soon as we can review your inquiry.
